Kent brothers gear up for the 2020 Season

Bradley and Lewis Kent are both looking forward to what’s ahead for them in the 2020 racing season.

BRADLEY KENT
“I’m looking forward to the 2020 season with a new challenge racing a VW Scirocco in the VW Cup.
With a car putting out 280bhp it will be a different world from the one I have been used to. Having raced in the BRSCC Junior and Senior Fiesta ST championship and then last year in a rear wheel drive Mazda MX5 in the Super series.
We purchased a car 4 months ago and have completely stripped it to ensure we are happy with everything, have now rebuilt the car replacing a great deal of bodywork, new suspension and wrapped the car in the new team colours. I feel confident that I will be in a position to compete with the more experienced VW drivers.
Testing starts in February and I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel of a race car, with the help of the team and my brother Lewis I hope for a successful season with a view to moving on to TCR in 2021 driving a Hyundai i30N.”

LEWIS KENT
“This year will be my third year in TCR UK finishing 5th in 2018 and 2nd in 2019 I hope to go one better and win the Championship, we did have one race in TCR Europe in SPA which I will be doing again this year with a view to possibly three more European races in Holland, Italy and Spain.
During the year I had 6 podium finishes including 3 wins out of the 8 races I competed in and set new TCR lap records at all of the four circuits. In December I was lucky enough to be invited to test the Hyundai Veloster TCR at Palm beach raceway Florida with the Bryan Herta race team, a great weekend and a nice way of keeping your hand in for racing over the winter.
Over the winter we have completely overhauled the Hyundai i30N and I am now looking forward to testing in February, we have run the car at the AUTOSPORT International Show in the live arena demonstrating what a TCR car can do, this proved very successful generating a lot of interest in me as a driver and the team in general from which we have found some potential sponsors.
The first round in April cannot come quick enough for both me and my brother Bradley.”
