Track: Castle Combe
QUALIFYING
As TCR returned to the fast and flowing Castle Combe circuit, the team were determined get back on track! Qualifying went the way of Bradley for the team ending up in a mighty P4 position for the races on Sunday. Scott followed this up with his best qualifying session of the year putting himself P6, however, Lewis struggled to get the right car set up for this fast circuit and finished a disappointing P15.
RACE DAY
Race 1: Race one saw all three of our drivers encounter some terrible luck. Both Bradley and Lewis had DNF’s with only a few laps to go and after a P10 finish which put Scott in pole position for race two, he was later disqualified for a technical fault.
Race 2: As the drivers lined up on the grid for race two in the scorching heat, it was Lewis who started P13 with Bradley following in P16 and Scott coming in at P19. After some great racing and a blistering start, Lewis brought his car home to finish P7 whilst Scott drove a brilliant race bringing himself from P19 to finish in P12. However, Bradleys bad luck continued leaving the youngster unable to make it to the start.
