QUALIFYING
Lewis put in the fastest lap ever seen from a TCR car at this circuit to take pole position.
RACE DAY
Race 1: There were 4 main contenders for this race, all looking capable of winning. Lewis showed great driving skill and ability to overtake finishing 2nd on the track but 1st in his class (TCR).
Race 2: Race 2 produced a repeat of race 1, with 4 cars contesting the lead. Lewis again showed his true class finishing 2nd on track and 1st in class.
Race 3: Again 4 cars pulled away from the pack but this time Lewis did not have it all his own way. One car pulled out of the race and the remaining three ran nose to tail for the duration of the race with Lewis finishing 3rd and 2nd in class. However, this was enough to claim the TCR UK Championship!
Looking back over this short season (due to COVID-19) it was very successful for Lewis, who was the star of TCR UK taking six wins and one 2nd place to claim the title of the 2020 TCR UK Champion.
